He is one reason making young people listen to Jazz music. With his early blue note records "the dawn" and "bending new corners" and his expansion into Hip Hop and Drum N' Base, Erik Truffaz contributed to the development of european Jazz music. On his new album "Doni Doni" he follows new paths to the grounds of African music - and again hits the spirit.
